Road Running Trainers

Road running models are engineered for use on tarmac and pavement. Larger CloudTec® pods absorb repeated impact, while Helion™ superfoam maintains responsiveness without excessive weight. Speedboard® plates are tuned to guide forward motion rather than lateral stability.

Uppers are lightweight engineered mesh, designed to balance breathability and structure over long distances. These features are found across the current range of men’s On Running road trainers.

Fit is true to size. Runners covering longer distances may prefer a half size up to accommodate natural foot expansion.

Trail Running Trainers

Trail models add protection and traction for uneven ground. Missiongrip™ rubber outsoles provide grip on wet rock, loose gravel, and mixed terrain. CloudTec® elements are typically firmer for stability on descents and off-camber surfaces.

Reinforced uppers, gusseted tongues, and structured heel counters are common across men’s On Running trail trainers, helping protect against debris and abrasion.

Fit runs slightly narrower through the midfoot. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, sizing up half a size is recommended.

Lifestyle models retain CloudTec® cushioning while prioritising comfort, versatility, and cleaner silhouettes. Construction is lighter and softer than performance models, making them suitable for travel, daily wear, and light gym use.

Care & Longevity

Remove insoles and allow shoes to air-dry after use. Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as heat can damage foam and bonded components. Store away from direct heat and sunlight.
