What is UBR's waterproof rating?
Most UBR jackets feature the Regulator™ membrane with a 20,000mm waterproof rating and 20,000g/24h breathability — equivalent to expedition-grade Gore-Tex performance. The DWR coating is re-activatable; tumble dry on low heat annually to restore surface repellency.
Down or PrimaLoft — which is better for UK weather?
PrimaLoft® synthetic insulation is the more practical choice for the UK. It retains approximately 98% of its warmth when wet and dries quickly — unlike natural down, which loses loft in damp conditions. For persistent rain and coastal weather, PrimaLoft® performs more reliably.
How does UBR sizing work?
