How do you care for Belstaff waxed cotton?
Never machine wash or dry clean waxed cotton. Sponge clean with cold water only and allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. Re-wax every 12–18 months with regular use, or when water stops beading on the surface. The white bloom that sometimes appears on waxed cotton is normal wax crystallisation and resolves after 24 hours in a warm room.
Does Belstaff fit true to size?
Generally yes, though silhouette affects the fit. Field jackets and overshirts are cut with room for layering underneath — if you want a closer fit, size down one.
