2 | The Sandbanks Sweatshirt Range — Hoodie, Crew, Half-Zip
Pullover Hoodie
The mainline casual piece. Recycled-cotton loopback shell with a relaxed hood and kangaroo pocket. Embroidered badge or printed logo across the chest depending on season. Navy, black and charcoal anchor each AW.
Zip-Through Hoodie
The layering piece. Full YKK zip, ribbed cuff and hem, lower-profile hood. Works under a Sandbanks jacket without bunching; layers over a tee or polo. Lighter loopback weight than the pullover.
Half-Zip Sweatshirt
The sporty-smart piece. Crew base, quarter-length zip to the chest, no hood. Worn over a polo for a smart-casual silhouette, or alone over a tee for casual.
Crew-Neck Sweatshirt
The cleanest piece. Standard crew, ribbed hem and cuff, embroidered badge at chest. Pairs cleanly under an open-front overshirt or a Sandbanks jacket.
2a | Sandbanks Knitwear & Jumpers
The Sandbanks knitwear range is the heavier-weight cousin of the sweatshirt line. Where the loopback hoodies and crews give you mid-layer warmth in a cotton-modal fabric, the knitwear range steps up to merino-blend wool for proper winter insulation. Worn over a shirt, under a jacket, or alone with denim in shoulder seasons.
Merino Crew-Neck Jumper
The flagship knit. Merino-wool blend (typically 70-80% merino with 20-30% recycled polyester or nylon for shape retention). Crew neck, ribbed hem and cuff, fine gauge. Black, navy, charcoal lead each AW; oat and rust on selected seasons.
How merino performs
Merino regulates temperature better than cotton — warm at rest, breathable in motion. Naturally odour-resistant; can be worn multiple times between washes. Sandbanks blends merino with synthetic for shape retention (pure merino can sag at the hem; the blend doesn't).

Recycled-Cotton Loopback
Hoodies and sweatshirts use recycled-cotton loopback (loop-knit interior, smooth-knit exterior) blended with organic cotton and recycled polyester. The recycled polyester is sourced from ocean-bound plastic bottles — the same supply chain as the jacket shells.
Merino blend
Knitwear runs 70-80% merino with 20-30% synthetic blend (recycled polyester or nylon) for shape retention. Fine gauge across the range; mid-weight, not chunky.
Sizing

4 | Fit & Care
Sandbanks hoodies run regular through the body — not athletic, not boxy. The pullover sits hip-length with a relaxed hood; the zip-through sits slightly shorter for layering under outerwear. Crew and half-zip sweatshirts run closer to body, intended to layer cleanly under a jacket.
How to choose
