Sandbanks started as a jacket brand. The recycled-plastic ethos — turning ocean-bound bottles into technical polyester shells — was first applied to outerwear, then extended across the rest of the range. The jacket line is where Sandbanks does its most distinctive work, with the brand worn off-piste by Jamie Redknapp and on training-camp by Tyson Fury.

2 | The Sandbanks Jacket Range — Puffer, Windbreaker, Long-Line, Gilet
Core Puffer
The flagship piece. Insulated puffer with technical shell built from recycled polyester (ocean-bound plastic bottle source). Hooded variants and crew-collar variants across the range. Charcoal, navy, black across most seasons.
Mid Puffer
Lighter-weight puffer for shoulder seasons. Slimmer profile through the body than the Core; lower insulation weight. Layers cleanly under a heavier overcoat in deep winter or stands alone in spring/autumn.
Windbreaker / Nylon Shell
The Meridian windbreaker is the lightweight wind- and shower-resistant piece. Packable, recycled nylon shell, drawstring waist and hood. Spring, summer evening, transitional weather.
Long-Line Puffer
The Branksome long-line is the dressier outerwear piece. Mid-thigh length, fuller insulation, designed to cover under a suit jacket or longer tailoring. The most formal Sandbanks jacket.
2a | Sandbanks Gilets — Layering & Warmth
The Sandbanks gilet is the outerwear piece that bridges seasons. Same recycled-polyester shell as the puffer range, same synthetic insulation, but with the arms cut away — warmth through the torso, freedom through the shoulders. Worn under a tailored jacket in winter for a discrete warmth layer; worn alone in spring and autumn over a fine knit or polo.
Frontier Micro Puffer Gilet
The mainline gilet. Ripstop recycled-polyester shell, 60-80gsm synthetic fill through the torso, two zipped hand pockets and one zipped chest pocket. Hooded variants on selected seasons. Navy, black, charcoal — the OD's-priority colourways.

Recycled-Polyester Shell
Every Sandbanks jacket uses recycled polyester sourced from ocean-bound plastic bottles spun into a technical shell. Performs identically to virgin polyester in water-resistance, shape retention and colour fastness. The brand's "Climate Positive Ambition" pledges more plastic recovered than used.
Insulation
Synthetic insulation on the puffer range — warmer for weight than down, and dries faster if wet. Mid-puffer insulation weight 60-80gsm; Core 100-140gsm; Long-line 120-160gsm. Frontier gilet runs 60-80gsm through the torso.
