The one thing to know
Reprimo is cut athletic, not boxy. The taper is the design — at the same letter size it sits closer to the body than a typical high-street tracksuit. Order true to size for that intended fit; size up if you want it looser. Exact measurements for each garment are on its product page (see section 6).

Reprimo's house cut is built for a trained body and for movement. Three things define it:
Tapered through chest & thigh
The silhouette narrows through the torso and leg so the set looks sharp rather than slouchy. Combined with four-way stretch, it stays close without restricting depth in a squat or range in a press.
Stretch does the accommodating
Because the polyester-elastane fabric has genuine four-way stretch, the trimmer cut still moves freely. You don't need to size up just to train in it — the stretch already handles that.
Pre-shrunk, holds its fit
A pre-shrunk finish means the size you buy is the size you keep — it won't tighten up after the first wash, so don't size up to "allow for shrinkage."
The practical upshot: Reprimo fits like performance sportswear, not like a relaxed loungewear tracksuit. If your reference point is a baggy cotton set, expect Reprimo at the same letter size to feel more fitted — that's intended, not a sizing error.
3 | Should You Size Up or Down?
For most people the answer is neither — order your usual size. Here's the decision logic we give customers on the shop floor:
- Average build, want the intended athletic fit? True to size. Order what you wear in mainstream sportswear.
- Between two sizes? Size up. The taper means the smaller of the two will feel snug; the larger gives you the clean athletic line without tightness.
- Broader through the chest, shoulders or thighs (gym build)? Size up on the top half especially — you want the taper to skim, not strain.
- Prefer a looser, streetwear drape? Size up one — most obvious in the jersey Motion line, which carries the relaxed look best.
- Slim build, want it fitted? True to size, or down only if you're at the very bottom of your usual size.

4 | Fit by Garment Type
The taper runs through everything, but each piece wears slightly differently:
Shell jackets (Flight, Impact, Summit, Clima, Vortex)
Cut to layer cleanly over a tee with elastic cuffs and a defined shape. If you'll regularly wear a hoodie underneath, that's the main reason to consider sizing up on the jacket alone.
Tracksuit pants & joggers
Tapered leg with an elasticated drawcord waist, so there's give at the waistband. The taper is through the thigh and calf — fitted but not skinny. True to size for most; size up if you want a relaxed leg line.
Tees
Quick-dry microfibre with a stay-tuck hem and athletic taper, cut to hold position during training. They sit closer than a standard cotton tee — true to size for a performance fit, up one if you want it loose.
Shorts
Elastic drawcord waist and a squat-proof thigh built for full-depth movement. True to size works for almost everyone here.
Hoodies & jersey tops (Motion, Axis, Helix)
Softer and more forgiving than the shells. This is the line where sizing up reads best if you want the relaxed streetwear silhouette.
5 | Buying a Full Set — Mixing Sizes
Most Reprimo tracksuits are sold as matched twin sets in a single size. But bodies aren't uniform, and Reprimo lists the pieces individually where stocked — so you can mix.
- Bigger top half than bottom? A common combination is a size up on the jacket or hoodie and true-to-size on the pant. Buy the pieces as separates rather than the bundled set.
- Replacing one half? If you already own a set and need just the pant or just the jacket, separates let you match the size you know works.
- Buying the matched set? Pick the size that fits your larger measurement — usually the chest/shoulders for the top — and let the stretch handle the rest.

Measuring yourself (the reliable way)
With a soft tape, take three measurements over a light t-shirt and compare them to the garment's chart:
- Chest — around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level.
- Waist — around your natural waistline, not pulled tight.
- Hip / seat — around the fullest part, for pants and shorts.
Match your largest relevant measurement to the size that accommodates it, then apply the taper logic from section 3. If you're on a boundary, size up.
