Which brands do OD's stock in women's activewear?

The women's activewear range features Sweaty Betty, P.E. Nation, On Running, Red Run Activewear, Saucony and Salomon. This gives a breadth that covers everything from studio-specific kit to trail running apparel, with brand names that sit at the top of their respective niches.

What's the difference between activewear and gym clothes?

Activewear is the broader category — it includes anything designed to be worn for physical activity, whether that's running, training, yoga or hiking. Gym clothes specifically refers to kit designed for indoor training environments. At OD's the gym-clothes-for-her collection focuses on studio-to-street performance wear, while the activewear range extends to outdoor and cross-discipline styles as well.

How do I choose the right sports bra?

The right sports bra depends on impact level. Low-impact activities like yoga and walking need light support with comfort and flexibility. Medium impact — cycling, gym work — requires a structured cup or encapsulation. High impact — running, HIIT, jumping — demands maximum support, preferably with an underwire or strong encapsulation and a secure adjustable back. Sweaty Betty and P.E. Nation both offer styles across the impact spectrum.

How should I wash technical activewear?

Wash technical activewear at 30°C on a gentle cycle and avoid fabric conditioner, which coats synthetic fibres and reduces their moisture-wicking properties over time. Turn garments inside out before washing to protect outer finishes. Air dry rather than tumble drying — high heat degrades elastane and technical coatings. For items with compression properties, line drying horizontally preserves the stretch better than hanging vertically.
