1 | Overview — How Sandbanks Fits
Sandbanks cuts athletic across the range. The brand was co-founded by Jamie Redknapp around a build that's lean through the chest and shoulder with room through the body for layering. The recycled-polyester fabric base has retained shape across wash cycles, so once you've sized correctly the fit stays consistent.

2 | How to Measure Yourself
Three measurements cover the whole Sandbanks range. Take them over a thin t-shirt, not naked — the readings should reflect the layer you'd wear under the piece you're ordering.
Chest
Wrap the tape under the arms across the fullest part of the chest. Tape level, snug but not tight. Read the inch number on exhale, not on inhale.
Waist
Tape around the natural waist (above the hip bones, below the ribcage). Don't pull tight; finger should fit between tape and skin.
Sleeve length
From the bony point at the top of the shoulder, along the relaxed arm, to the wrist bone. Critical for jackets and long-sleeve tees. Bend the elbow slightly when measuring — gives the working length, not the stretched length.

4 | Does Sandbanks Run True to Size?
Tops: True to standard UK chest sizing. The cotton-modal-recycled-polyester blend has slight give but holds shape; if between two sizes, size UP — the fabric handles a touch of looseness better than tightness.
Polos: Athletic through chest and shoulder. If you have a developed chest or shoulders, size UP for room across the upper body without the polo riding up. Body length is standard.
Jackets & gilets: Close-to-body cut, intended to layer over a tee or fine knit. Size UP if you regularly layer over a chunky knit, shirt, or hoodie. Sleeve length runs slightly long on most pieces, which most wearers prefer.
Shorts: True to waist. Inseam sits 7-9in (above the knee), in line with the brand's coastal aesthetic.
Between sizes? The Sandbanks athletic cut rewards a slightly larger size when in doubt, especially on outerwear. The fabric retains shape, so a half-size up doesn't go baggy after a few wears.
