Evisu is a Japanese clothing franchise established by designer Hidehiko Yamane in 1991 that is dedicated to producing premium denim wear. Yamane was not a fan of modern denim brands and decided to create a new brand of jeans in the using the traditional approach, which had not been done for around 40 years in the fashion world. Evisu jeans are internationally recognised for their trademark seagull logo, which was created by Yamane himself.
